American and Swiss Dingo Distributors
The Dalby made Dingo is heading to the land of American pie
and Swiss watches. Stephan Textor and Andreas Eugster from Switzerland
were in Dalby this month for 2 weeks for training in being international
Dingo distributors. Along with James Kerr, from Red Roo (based
in Melbourne and Birmingham, Alabama), both groups will be taking
the K9-4 model Dingo back to their respective countries as distributors.
They will join Dingo distributors in New Zealand and the Oceania
regions.
Stephan and Andreas backgrounds are in engineering, tunnelling and excavating.
James’ family own Red Roo Sales and Service - a company selling
items such as mulchers, mowers, garden tillers, etc.
Brendan McDonald, Dingo International Sales, says the US and Switzerland
are ideal. “They are both strong economies with populations living
in big cities - perfect territory for Dingos that specialize in limited
access work.”
Being an international distributor for Dingo isn’t as easy as saying
you want to sell the product and having the Dingos shipped off to a foreign
country. After showing interest in Dingo and enquiring to Dalby Head
Office – potential distributors are asked to come to Australia
to learn about the product and company. Training in sales, marketing,
assembly and R&D gives the future distributors insight into how Dingo
Australia is run.
Dingo Australia manufactures compact skid steers loaders and attachments.
Head office in is Dalby, with branches located across Australia.
And as for the future of Dingo in the global market - “In the next
month we will be meeting with companies from South Africa and India.
The only limit to how many distributors we take on is how fast we can
build them.” Says Brendan.
