HRIA Convention (3000 Dingo Winner)

Australia’s Hire and Rental industry personal descended on the Gold Coast for the nation’s annual Hire and Rental Convention…. and Dingo Australia was right in the thick of the action. The spotlight of the activities was the release of the special “one-off” 3000 Dingo. This visually unique Dingo machine was put up for auction with proceeds over the low reserve being donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The Dingo was the 3000th Dingo to roll off the Dalby, Queensland assembly line earlier this year.

The lucky high bidder was National Hire. By successfully securing the high bid, National Hire receives the coveted K9-4 model Dingo. National Hire was founded in 1962. Today, there are 18 branches throughout Australia. The 3000th Dingo will be placed in the Seven Hills, NSW branch.

Greg Parfitt of National Hire says, “We would have purchased another Dingo anyway…but [the purchase of the 3000th Dingo] was a chance to contribute to a worthwhile Aussie charity.”, adding “We are always happy to support home grown community programs, especially this one, which allows country Australians access to vital medical support which is only available to us fortunate city dwellers.”
Gary and Wendy Briggs purchased the manufacturing rights to Dingo back in 1991. In 1995, Dingo entered into the United States and in 1999 the rest of the world was introduced to the world’s leading mini digger.

Dingo wishes the thank National Hire for submitting the winning bid for the 3000th Dingo and knows the money donated to the Royal Flying Doctors Service will be used for a good cause. The RFDS will receive $5500.
