Dingo K9-4 Pro Series :: 'More TORQUE with Less Talk'

The latest innovation from the Dingo stable is the Pro Series.

The Pro series is named after the market that it is aimed at, Professionals. The machine has been designed with an upgrade in engine technology and is now powered by the Generation III Yanmar 27 HP engine. This is an increase in HP that makes the machine one of the most powerful in the market. As well as this, the engine has been designed to meet all future emission controls that are due to be introduced shortly.

k94 proA significant feature of the new Generation III engine is that it produces more power but at lower revs. This makes the machine considerably quieter than any model in its class. To assist the Pro in producing less noise Dingo has manufactured it with tough alloy sides. These sides assist in dampening noise as well as heat, yet they are extremely strong and have the ability to absorb any rugged punishment that can be dished out on busy jobsites.

The Pro incorporates all of the features that made previous Dingo models stand out in their class. It produces 3400PSI of hydraulic power that gives the machine superior operational capacity. Dingo made sure that they incorporated the revolutionary twin pump system into the new model. The twin pumps allow power to be directed to both the wheels and the attachments at the same time. Unlike others that can really only support one operation at a time satisfactorily in rugged conditions.

The Pro has a ground speed of 7.4 km/h with overdrive, which is more than enough when working in small confines or construction situations. However ground speed is not where the Pro comes into its own. Mini diggers aren’t meant to carry loads long distance; they are chiefly designed to work at a central point. This is where the Pro gains as a faster operational machine. They have a more advanced hydraulic system that allows the machine to be more efficient at the jobs performed. Pound for pound they are faster at digging, shifting and lifting along with most other tasks that it may be required to perform.

The controls on the new machine are the same as its predecessors which is pleasing because they have worked very well. Dingo hasn’t tried to reinvent the wheel with things have worked well for them in the past. The controls are easy to use and comfortable after long periods of operational time. Everything is within easy reach and not difficult to master after a short period of time.

One thing that Dingo have kept in the machine is its ability to slip through a standard door way. No other machine on the market has the lifting capacity, the working capacity and the digging capacity of the Pro and yet fit through a 780mm opening. It is designed to be a tool that professional tradesman would use that doesn’t skimp on features, doesn’t shy away from tasks and like all true professionals, helps people get on with the job.
