One power authority
has also found a method for using the Dingo to install
power poles.
They couldn’t
use conventional equipment because many of the power poles
that needed replacing
were in confined areas where no large machinery could fit.
The solution was to use the Dingo to dig the post hole,
and then also use the Dingo to erect specially modified
3 stage
poles. These are but a few of the uses for Dingos in
the utilities industries.
There are also dozens of Dingos
used by contractors to inspect power poles. The Trencher
is used to excavate around the base of the pole so the
contractor can inspect it for rot. Dingos have established
themselves
as the preferred technology for this type of work.
If rot
is
found and a pole has to be stabilised the Dingo can help
there too. The Post Driver is used to drive the supporting
nails
in beside the pole. Our Post Driver can be specially modified
for this particular job of pole re-instatement. |
