The Pallet Carrier provides a
terrific mechanism to lift and move up to 1 tonne on a pallet.
The Pallet Carrier allows a way of shifting pallets of bricks,
turf, or other items that have been unloaded by delivery trucks
in the street, to the job site. that could be around a building
site, in a backyard, behind a shed, or in some other awkward
place.
The Pallet Carrier is a self loading trailer that the Dingo
pushes around. It has a forklift base, hydraulic lifting
abilities, and large wheels to give it excellent rough terrain
capabilities.
The lifting mechanism is created by twin hydraulic
cylinders and is mounted on light truck wheels and tyres
(these are the same as the Dingo road trailer). The Pallet
Carrier is rated with a safe working load of 1000kg
and the Dingo has no trouble pushing it up most driveways. Steering , visibility and manoeverability pose no problems
as the Dingo operator can see the Pallet Carrier's movements
to push the trailer wherever necessary. This is truly another
great labour saver with tremendous applications from Dingo
Australia.
The Dingo Brick Forks are recommended
to carry only 1 pack of standard bricks. ie a 1/4 of the
pallet. Either model Dingo can safely CARRY this load.
By carry we do not mean lift. To carry, the load should
never be raised more than 100mm above the ground. The heavy
duty
K9-4 can safely carry 2 packs. The front tyres would
need higher inflation for this. DO NOT LIFT THESE LOADS.
