The system has a distinct advantage over other under road boring systems in that boring is done completely horizontally.

The unit is lowered into a trench to the desired depth before commencing boring so that rods need not be bent. By starting horizontal, drilling is more accurate.

This system can also pull the pipe or cable back through, leaving the ground virtually undisturbed.

A Standard Dry Kit (Model #M450000T) includes : Under Road Boring attachments include 4 rods each 1500mm long, rod guide tool, 45mm boring bit, and a 65mm reamer kit. A Wet Drive System is also available.
